Liberty of London for Target....Oh Emm Geee!
I can’t believe I totally missed sharing this fabulous news; about a month ago I found out that Liberty of London was collaborating with Target and debuting a home collection line. Make sure you run to your nearest Target on Sunday, March 14th to snag the very inexpensive pieces. I for one will hold the urge to “splurge” away. The BF and I are currently apartment shopping and...
No More Needle and Thread!
Birthday Time! This year my dear momma surprised me a little early and bought me a new sewing machine…I’m so embarrassed to say, but over year ago my vintage Singer went caput when I tried to run some very hard denim material through it. The poor thing didn’t stand a chance. I actually still have it. I can’t toss it. I’m emotionally attached to it as it provided me...

You know that I could use somebody...
Thank the Good Lord for President’s Day (is that what we celebrated this past Monday?) and the extra day off. The BF and I drove to Santa Barbara for a Valentine’s weekend. It was awesome!
Perfect weather, tons of good food, and lots and lots of booze!

Vintage Lovers Rejoice Sale!
It’s finally here!
For a few weeks now I’ve been preparing myself mentally and now physically for this sale. It started of as a crazy thought then it transferred to a Craigslist post and then the email’s started pouring in (okay, not really- more like steady rain).
Anyone that knows me is aware that I collect vintage clothing and accessories hailing from the early 1960s to the...
84 Days Left !
How did I not know about this? As much time as I spend on “the internets” one would think I’d be all over this. It’s charitable, fashion forward, inventive and above all inspiring. This is Sheena Matheiken (and even though she doesn’t know me, I feel like I know her and definitely see a little of me in her). I’m not just posting this because she’s a cutie patootie or because her outfits are...

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
My workspace; where I plan to spend my time updating and becoming more creative!
Hello Dear Friends,
It’s been several months of hiatus.
To be honest, I almost gave up on this blog but just a few weeks ago I decided, “what the heck?” it’s my blog and I can do whatever I want, and right now; I want to write.
I am suddenly inspired by my surroundings again; my supportive family, my caring friends and my wonderful boyfriend. It amazes me the power of relationships and...

"My dreams they keep a hold of me"
I’ve been meaning to share some of the pictures from my vacay in Solvang, CA. If you’ve ever seen Sideways, then you’ve seen Solvang, it’s a really small town with a whole lot of character. Perfect for two young love birds trying to get away from the LA madness! Our drive was beautiful, special and the scenery didn’t do it justice it totally made the three hour...

“That’s how he got me to go out with him.”
Ghost was among one of my favorite movies as a teenager. I must have seen it a 100 times, a guilty pleasure till this day. It’s sad to see a person’s life crumble into the hands of such a horrible disease. It’s discusting to know that just a few months ago tabloids exploited his inevitable last months.

Oh Boy, Fall is Almost Here!
After having a horrible and uber embarrassing fall on Friday night, my weekend was off to a great start; maybe we should have called it a night after Inglorious Bastards – on second hand, never mind. With the ever so evident scraped knee and bruised ankle, Saturday soon became recovery day; staying in and running away from Vicster trying to sterilize my wounds and convincing him that I was okay is...

Let the Sun Set on the Junction
This past weekend was the 29th Annual Sunset Junction Street Fair in Silver Lake, CA. Two fun filled days with live music, carnival rides, food booths, crafts, games, beer, and art; all for an array of unique people. Needless to say, we only made it for one of those days but we had enough fun to keep us talking about it all weekend.
Like every year the line-up is one the most impressive for a...
I'm Catching Up on my fellow TUMBLR Friends and...
I’ve been ignoring my blog for weeks now. Like I mentioned, I’m juggling double duties, my days are long but I can’t complain (much), somehow I still manage to get some RR and QT with my main man, the family and friends! I’m hoping the rest of the year eases up a bit but for now I’ll just have to manage and make it work.

Saturdays Off the 405
What started off to be a lame Saturday (because I was stuck at work missing out on LA’s gorgeous sunshine) turned out to be a great day.
We once again made it out to The Getty for some fun in the sun before catching Bruno. The atmosphere was slighly different then the last ”Off the 405” but we had lots of fun trying to break a ”deal” at the bar. Ha!
My Latest Creation
Several weeks ago I bought a ton of Ts from my local thrift store and last night I decided to cut and experiment with some, the first were more like trial and error and then, this came out:
I have to say, I am pretty impressed!
I took this picture a few months ago but just saw it today as I was uploading some other pictures (I have over 1500 pictures in my camera - lame, I know). Anyhooo, I felt compelled to post it as it gives a very powerful message and if you’re an Angelino like me, you see these at almost every bus stop.
Here is to Equality, Change, Opportunity, and above all Trust! The kind of trust that...
