“I don’t know you! I don’t know Sam, but let me tell you what he did to me. He kept me up all night singing ‘I’m Henry the Eighth I Am.’”

“That’s how he got me to go out with him.”
Ghost was among one of my favorite movies as a teenager. I must have seen it a 100 times, a guilty pleasure till this day. It’s sad to see a person’s life crumble into the hands of such a horrible disease. It’s discusting to know that just a few months ago tabloids exploited his inevitable last months.

Oh Boy, Fall is Almost Here!
After having a horrible and uber embarrassing fall on Friday night, my weekend was off to a great start; maybe we should have called it a night after Inglorious Bastards – on second hand, never mind. With the ever so evident scraped knee and bruised ankle, Saturday soon became recovery day; staying in and running away from Vicster trying to sterilize my wounds and convincing him that I was okay is always fun. He’s such a cutie! To close our mellow day we met with friends at Medusa Lounge. Mix and mingling is always entertaining especially when you meet super cute couples that seem to flow so well together even after 8 years of being together. One can only imagine.
So here are my weekend highlights:
- Never coach yourself to not fall down a wet staircase when walking down them
- Keep open wounds away from The Boyfriend
- Inglorious Bastards is a great film with out a doubt - that being said, I couldn’t watch it again my heart stood still most of the film as I cringed and held on to Vicster’s arm
- Eating chicken tacos at dawn is not a good idea – EVER!
- Some people should not be allowed to dance and if for some reason they stray from the prohibition their open tab at the bar should be immediately revoked.
- My new vacuum is banging, picks up glass very well (I had a boo boo and shattered a beer tumbler – what can I say? I got excited! It’s football season)
- Dinner trays are finally available at Apartment 3 ! Yay!! No more eating on the floor, desk, or lap.
- I don’t know how I feel about the final episodes of both Hung and True Blood
- Red Zone channel was on full force Sunday; an entire day of football only got better when… [see below]
- The Packers Won…It’s gonna be a great season!
If someone would have told me I’d be obsessed with vampires, thrills, chills, blood, and all that surrounds a dark and edgy series I would have laughed.
In just a short amount of time I’ve become addicted with True Blood. Sunday nights are HBO night and if it wasn’t for the eastern channel I wouldn’t be able to catch closed eyes at night. The show is captivating in so many levels; dark, sexy, well written, drama (of course), and the intro is amazing… it keeps me on my toes. I’m not a fan of horror, if I can avoid it, I do; it drives me nuts and I can’t sleep at night.
In just a very short week (for me, since I just got back from vacationing in Solvang, CA) my love-hate relationship will be over. True Blood comes to an end and my smile couldn’t be more upside down.
Till next season :(
“And you said
It was like fire around the brim
Burning solid
Burning thin the burning rim
Like stars burning holes right through the dark
Flicking fire like saltwater into my eyes
You were one inch from the edge of this bed
I drag you back a sleepyhead, sleepyhead”

In my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you. The right person will still think the sun shines outta your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.
THIS GUY IS AMAZING!!!
HIS VOICE IS SO REFRESHING!
Let the Sun Set on the Junction
This past weekend was the 29th Annual Sunset Junction Street Fair in Silver Lake, CA. Two fun filled days with live music, carnival rides, food booths, crafts, games, beer, and art; all for an array of unique people. Needless to say, we only made it for one of those days but we had enough fun to keep us talking about it all weekend.
Like every year the line-up is one the most impressive for a street fair

After catching Wolfmother at El Cid we decided to call it a night, only to stumble in to UNDFTD for an “exclusive” performance with an open bar. I don’t know who they are but they were cool, check it out:

You might have caught this while watching Sunday’s The Soup on E!, this kid is pretty funny and although what he says is crude and shouldn’t be the vocabulary of what seems to be a 10 year old I’ve discovered he has a series of videos on You Tube. With his new found and very exposed fame thanks to The Soup, I’m sure he’s bound to get a few extra thousand hits.
before I cut my locks, Vicster took these picture of me at The Getty, after looking at them I don’t look so bad considering I’m a horrible person to take pictures of…
… I have no coordination and I feel ackward when there is tons of people around me
Who’s Going?
I AM!!!
UPDATE: What a fuckin joke this show was…as a matter of fact it wasn’t even a show, such a waste of money and time. If you didn’t hear, here is the 411; LAPD & LAFD shut down the event mid concert. I’m so glad we will all be getting our money back, too bad we won’t get our Saturday night back or the $22 we paid for parking.
