Hipster store American Apparel would be the one to make this trend make it to the locks of many Lil Joy and Cha Cha Lounge habitués. I love American Apparel and I own a ton of their pieces; summer shirts, two-tone dresses, leggings, you name it I have it [I use to work for Headquarters so I never really paid full price for them ;)]. That being said, this one item will not be making its way into my drawers. I use to wear scruchies in grade school along with my acid jeans and Mickey Mouse t-shirts but that was the early 90s and although my style is still very reminiscent of the 80s and 90s I can’t tip off my hat to some of my friends in the production department.
