Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog.

I’m Evelyn Cruz and this is my own little place where all things are possible. It’s my way to express all that interest me in no particular order.

I work for a law firm in Los Angeles and spend most of my hours stuck in a cubicle in a high-rise building. I graduated from the University of California Riverside and double majored in Anthropology and Latin American Studies. I was born and raised in Los Angeles but my family is from the smallest country in Central America; El Salvador. I’m a walking brainstorm; my interests are endless. I write poetry when I’m sad and clean when I’m stressed or trying to avoid doing something else.

OwListen derives from “I’ll Listen.” I like to think that I listen to my heart for direction. Although life has not always been easy I am in a good place right now. I have a great support system, so to them I say, THANK YOU!

As you can also see, I’m fixated by owls - hence the owl in OwListen. :)
